Inno Sense pelham flexi soft

The Pelham cheekpiece combines the action of a snaffle and a curb bit. Although the bit has only one cheekpiece, it can be used with one or two reins. When riding with one rein, a Pelham strap is required to connect the bit rings to the shank rings. The Pelham has a leverage effect; the longer the shanks, the stronger the action. The baby Pelham has short shanks and therefore offers a milder action than a standard Pelham.

A Pelham bit is commonly used for strong horses, horses with limited space in the mouth for two mouthpieces, or horses that are being introduced to a double bridle. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.

Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made from elastic synthetic material and are highly flexible, making them very gentle in the mouth. Despite their flexibility, Flexi Soft bits are extremely durable due to their flexible stainless steel core.

Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses but are especially suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticizers and is therefore safe for the horse’s health. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece tend to follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft is less suitable for very strong horses.
