Inno Sense pelham port medium or hard

The Pelham cheekpiece combines the action of a snaffle and a curb bit. The bit has a single cheekpiece but can be ridden with one or two reins. If ridden with one rein, a Pelham strap is required to connect the bit rings with the shank rings. The Pelham has leverage action: the longer the shanks, the stronger the effect. The baby Pelham has short shanks, making it milder than the standard Pelham. A Pelham bit is mainly used for strong horses, horses with limited space in the mouth for two mouthpieces, or horses that are being introduced to a double bridle. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.

The Inno Sense Medium Port is made of elastic synthetic material, slightly firmer than the Inno Sense Flexi Soft. The port provides extra tongue freedom, relieving pressure from the tongue and distributing it over the bars. This makes the bit ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue or horses that tend to stick their tongue out. The Inno Sense Medium Port is slightly flexible.
