Inno Sense hackamore combi short port medium or hard

This cheekpiece is a combination of a hackamore and a bit. The hackamore combination is a cheekpiece with leverage action that applies pressure to the nose, chin, and mouth. The longer the shanks of the hackamore, the stronger the effect. This version with short shanks has a milder action than the long hackamore combination. These bits are often used for very enthusiastic or strong horses in the jumping ring. Because of the leverage action, it is quite a sharp bit and therefore not suitable for inexperienced riders.

The Inno Sense Medium Port is made of elastic synthetic material and is slightly firmer than the Inno Sense Flexi Soft. The port provides more tongue freedom, which removes pressure from the center of the tongue and distributes it over the bars. This makes the bit ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue or horses that tend to stick their tongue out. The Inno Sense Medium Port is slightly flexible.

The Inno Sense material contains no plasticizers and is therefore not harmful to the horse’s health. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
