The loose ring snaffle is a standard cheekpiece. This cheekpiece has loose rings, allowing the bit to move more freely in the mouth, which helps many horses accept it well. To prevent skin from getting caught between the moving rings, it is recommended to use bit guards. Small rings create a more direct rein aid than larger rings. The smaller the rings, the more pressure is applied to a smaller surface area. This makes it a suitable bit for slightly stronger horses.
The Inno Sense mullen is a straight bar that curves slightly forward. This mouthpiece is made of synthetic material. It contains a rigid core, which means the mullen bar is not flexible but still feels soft.
Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses but are especially suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticizers and is therefore not harmful to the horse’s health. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
The bits from TRUST Equestrian are authentically Dutch. All bits are designed, developed, and handmade in the Netherlands. Every day, a team of technical professionals works on production. The bits are assembled with great care and made from the finest materials, resulting in very high quality and standards. Each design carefully considers the balance between shape, material, and weight. TRUST bits are slightly curved so they better follow the shape of the horse’s mouth. Due to this anatomical design, the bit sits more comfortably in the mouth and distributes pressure more evenly. With a wide variety of mouthpieces, cheekpieces, and materials, TRUST strives to offer a suitable bit for every horse.
