The headpiece is anatomically shaped and cut back to allow more freedom at the ears. The padding is soft but not too thick so that direct contact with the horse is maintained.

The drop noseband distributes pressure differently to a classic noseband. The headpiece is anatomically shaped and cut back to allow more freedom at the ears. The padding on the headpiece is lovely and soft, but not too thick so that direct contact with the horse is maintained. The browband is also padded and lined. The noseband is anatomically cut and raised. This means that the noseband is slightly raised for an improved fit allowing the noseband to sit comfortably on the horse's nose.
