The loose ring snaffle is a standard cheekpiece. This cheekpiece has loose rings that allow the bit to move more freely in the mouth, which helps many horses accept the bit well. To prevent skin from getting caught between the moving rings, it is recommended to use bit guards. Large rings have a more indirect effect than smaller rings. The large rings create a wider distribution of pressure on the cheeks. As a result, a horse becomes easier to steer and the bit is less likely to be pulled through the mouth. Additionally, a slight leverage effect can be achieved with these large rings.
The Inno Sense mullen is a straight bar that curves slightly forward. This mouthpiece is made of synthetic material. It has a rigid core, which means the mullen bar is not flexible, but it still feels soft. The synthetic material used is FDA approved, meaning it is non-toxic and contains no plasticizers.
Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses, but they are especially suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The Inno Sense material contains no plasticizers and is therefore not harmful to the horse’s health.
The bits from TRUST Equestrian are authentically Dutch. All bits are designed, developed, and handmade in the Netherlands. Every day, a team of technical professionals works on production. The bits are assembled with the greatest care and made from the best materials. This results in very high quality control and standards. For each design, careful consideration is given to the balance between shape, material, and weight. TRUST bits are lightly curved so they better fit the horse’s mouth. Due to this anatomical shape, the bit lies more comfortably in the mouth and the pressure is distributed more evenly. With the wide selection of mouthpieces, cheekpieces, and materials, TRUST aims to provide a suitable bit for every horse.
