Sometimes the solution is not a different bit, but a small adjustment. A horse that is sensitive to pressure, develops minor rubs, or temporarily needs extra softness can often benefit from subtle optimization. With the TRUST Sealtex Bit Wrap, you can easily adapt the action of the bit to your horse’s individual needs without changing its fundamental function.

The TRUST Sealtex has been developed to make the bit softer and, if desired, slightly thicker. By wrapping the mouthpiece partially or completely, it creates a comfortable protective layer that helps to:

• Prevent rubbing
• Soften pressure distribution
• Increase confidence in sensitive horses by providing a warmer feel

Since the wrap can be cut to the desired length, you decide exactly how much coverage is needed. This allows you to fine-tune the action of the bit to your horse’s individual requirements. It also enables you to modify the feel of the mouthpiece. For example, fully wrapping a single-jointed bit creates a more stable, more “locked” feel.

The Sealtex Bit Wrap is made from 100% latex. This material is:

• Safe for horses
• Completely tasteless
• Free from plasticizers
• Residue-free (leaves no marks or residue on the bit)

The material also does not absorb water. As a result, it does not become heavier during use and retains its function and elasticity, even during intensive use or in wet conditions.

Thanks to its high elasticity, the wrap becomes self-adhesive when stretched. It bonds securely to itself without the need for additional fastening materials.

The wraps measure 4 cm wide and 60 cm long and are supplied as a set of two.

The TRUST Sealtex Bit Wrap is permitted under FEI regulations for dressage, show jumping and eventing.
